   Chef D'Michael Has more than 30 years of experience as a Chef, Restaurateur,and Culinary Artist, serving Creole, Latin, Caribbean, American, Italian, and French Cuisines. Using only the finest and freshest ingredients, he will create a dinner that will delight you and your guests.​

 

Chef D'Michael, Has been serving California's South & Central Coast, Cincinnati, Chicago, Miami, Nashville, New Orleans, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, the Monterrey Peninsula, and beyond with the highest quality cuisine and service since 1993. From Chicago to New Orleans and Miami Beach to the Virgin Islands, Chef Derrick-Michael has a well known reputation for offering the best in off site catering & Private dining events.
  Chef/Owner Derrick-Michael Michele Williams was professionally trained at the Le Cordon Blue Culinary Institute in Adelaide, Australia. I bring not only extensive training and experience, but also a unique and innovative flair to my creations. My passion for Fine Food and Culinary Entertainment began in the hotel and restaurant business in New Orleans, LA, at the famous Brennan's, Restaurant in the wonderful French Quarter, owned and operated by The Brennan's.

After graduating from Le Cordon Blue Culinary Institute, I had the privilege to work with some of the nation’s most distinguished and hotels including La Maison Blanche, The Jefferson Hotel in Washington, D.C., and the renowned Washington Square Bar & Grill in San Fransisco.
In 1998 he had earned a Best New Chef mention from food and wine, then in late 2000 I opened D'Michael Fine Dining, and The Bistro New Orleans, earning best fine dining splurge in New Orleans by New Orleans city business in 2005, since hurricane Catrina devastated New Orleans and the Gulf coast in September 2005.
  He have privately entertained through out the world with the unmistakable passion for food and flawless service.
  He have also participated in national and international culinary events. In 2005 He won the Inaugural Inter-Caribbean Culinary Competition, beating the Caribbean's best. He has also participated in culinary events at the prestigious James Beard House in New York City.
